Gramma had a sweet tooth. Gramma was my mom’s mom. My dad’s mom was known as grandmother. She was a former English teacher and thought it proper to call her grandmother, not granmma. I remember when she corrected my little brother after he used the improper epithet. My real grandmother died when my father was six years old. A burst appendix. So, grandmother was the only grandmother on my dad’s side that I ever knew.
